Balochistan CM Sarfraz Bugti Orders Government Department Reforms, Reviews Performance

QUETTA, October 14, 2026: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti chaired a meeting of the Secretaries Committee to review the performance of provincial government departments and discuss administrative reforms. He directed all departments to prepare comprehensive proposals for restructuring, merging institutions performing similar functions, rationalizing unnecessary staff and reducing non-development expenditures. The chief minister stressed that public resources must be utilized efficiently and that reforms should improve governance, transparency and the quality of public service delivery
